Welcome To Chuck’s Chevron

Sunday, April 15th, 2012

One thing that most of the service stations like us that are still around have in common is that we are family owned and operated. Chucks Chevron is a 3rd generation family business and we like to joke that we have been under the same old management since 1939. Chuck Matheson opened the service station back in 1939 near Silver Lake and a few years later moved to Hwy 99 north of our current location to become a Chevron Dealer.

Chucks brother Don joined him in the business after graduating from high school. In 1956 we moved to our current location and opened as a Shell station and were a Shell Dealer for 35 years. Chuck and Don worked together until Chucks death.

Dons son Dennis worked at the station through High School.

Dennis and Candy Matheson bought the family business in 1975. Dennis and Candy still own the station and their sons Dennis Jr. and Jeff are responsible for the day to day operations.

While the years have come and gone and technology has changed how we do our job we still believe that the most important thing is treating our customers right and building relationships that last because we want our kids to work on your kids cars. All of our mechanics are ASE certified, and we have a state-certified emissions specialist on staff. From simple repairs to significant problems, our knowledgeable mechanics are skilled to handle any type of automotive difficulty, foreign or domestic.

Swimming Pool Fountains – Over Decorations

Sunday, April 8th, 2012

It was going to be a late afternoon wedding with the ceremony and the reception held at the same place…

their garden.

Without it, the place would be just that… a beautiful garden.

When I got to their place I immediately knew what was missing… pool fountains. They seriously need at least two considering the size of the space, so it really is swimming pool fountains.

Tuesday, October 18th, 2011

The prevailing attributes to consider within a family vehicle are: Basic safety, Efficiency, and Convenience. Having a top-quality break and traction system in addition to airbags with dual threshold and stage deployment is great. Also a tried and true M Servotronic Power rack and pinion variable assisted steering system plus an adaptive automatic transmission is essential. Throw in leather power seating and GPS plus DVD navigation Aid and you really are all set to drive. Discover BMW of San Diego.

Important Factors Pertaining To Settling On An Auto Dealership And Auto Mechanic

Tuesday, October 18th, 2011

Because of the inaccurate marketing which takes place, its difficult to tell precisely what is authentic or just what really is a nice offer. Or at least thats the way I think. So my own personalized factors would be to choose a business that’s been running a business some time, preferably is family owned, is completely upfront about what they do, offers a certified warranty on their car or repairs and has a good track record with their customers. A perfect example, in my opinion, is BMW Vista of San Diego. Discover BMW of San Diego.

My very first automobile selection has got to be BMW Coupe Cabriolet Silver Convertible.
